Today, Botalcura Winery reaffirms this commitment through the measurement of our Carbon Dioxide emissions, and the consequently reduction, in order to mitigate the impact of our activities.

To achieve this, we have obtained the CEMARS® certification, which stands for “Certified Emissions Measurement and Reduction Scheme”; this guarantees that all of our wines come from an organization committed to reducing its carbon emissions. CEMARS certification provides assurance that we have measured, managed and reduced the greenhouse gas emissions.

Proud of finishing this process, this is, at the same time, the beginning of great challenges towards this issue. We are enthusiast and full of satisfaction as we know that all our team feels responsible for protecting our environment and for giving out to our community the best there is in us.
