Itata Valley is located in the Southern Wine Region and contemplates the provinces of Nuble and Concepcion, in the Bio Bio Region of Chile. This valley is crossed by the Nuble and Itata Rivers, but it’s also situated at the east side of the Coastal mountain range, which makes it close to the sea with low altitude vineyards. It has a humid Mediterranean climate with temperatures that go lower than other valleys, with differentiated seasons. All this makes Itata a zone with unique characteristics to achieve great quality wines, especially white varieties.
